How do I connect to the internet?

If you are using your own wireless router:

- In this case, you are using your own wireless router connected to the fiber modem.

Contact us so we can set the fiber modem in bridge mode.

Connect a network cable from the port on the fiber modem that has been set to bridge mode, to the port on the wireless router labeled "WAN" or "INTERNET".

Tip 1: On Icotera fiber modems, LAN port 4 is used for bridge mode.

Tip 2: On Zyxel fiber modems, LAN port 1 is used for bridge mode.

After this, all devices that want internet access must be connected to your wireless router.

If your device uses WiFi, it must connect to your wireless router's WiFi network.

If your device requires a network cable, connect the device to any network port on your wireless router labeled "LAN" or "ETHERNET".

If you are not using your own wireless router:

- In this case, you are using the built‑in wireless router in the fiber modem.

All devices that want internet access must be connected to the fiber modem.

If the device uses WiFi, connect it to the fiber modem's WiFi network.

The WiFi name and WiFi password are printed on a label on the fiber modem or on a separate card. If these labels are missing, please contact us.

If the device requires a network cable, connect it to any network port on the fiber modem labeled "LAN".
