You can connect as many TV set‑top boxes to the fiber modem as you want. This can be done in two ways:
Wired connection
Connect a network cable from an available network port on the fiber modem to the network port on the TV set‑top box.
If there are no available network ports on the fiber modem, you can connect a network switch (not the same as a wireless router) to one network port on the fiber modem, and then connect the TV set-top box to an available port on the switch.
Note: If you are using your own wireless router, the TV set-top box must be connected to an available network port on that router.
Wireless connection
We always recommend using a wired connection for the TV set-top box.
If this is not possible, the TV set-top box can use a wireless connection.
In this case, the TV set-top box must be connected to the WiFi network of the fiber modem.
Note: If you are using your own wireless router, the TV set-top box must be connected to the WiFi network of your router.
