To achieve the most stable TV picture, we recommend connecting a network cable from the fiber modem directly to the network port on the set‑top box.

And if you are using your own wireless router, we recommend connecting a network cable from the wireless router directly to the network port on the set‑top box.

Wireless transmission of IPTV

If you use equipment that transmits TV signals wirelessly, there is a high chance that the stuttering is caused by this equipment not being able to transmit the signals stable enough.

IPTV transmission over the home wiring (HomePlug/Powerline)

If you use equipment that plugs into wall sockets and transmits signals through your home’s internal electrical wiring, there is a high chance that the signals are being disrupted by other electrical devices connected to the same electrical circuit.

Internal network wiring and network wall outlets

If a network cable has a sharp bend, kink, or has been pinched, this alone may cause signal interference. Likewise, if a network wall outlet has been damaged, it may result in unstable signals. If you have created your own network cable (self‑terminated cable), we recommend testing with the network cable that came with your set‑top box.

Restarting the set‑top box and fiber modem

In some cases, the stuttering may disappear by unplugging the power from both the set‑top box and the fiber modem, waiting 10 seconds, and then reconnecting the power.
