This is how you set up the Altibox set-top box for the first time when using network cable (ethernet cable).

Step 1: Place the set-top box where you want it
1) Position the set-top box near your TV and close to a connection point for the network cable, fiber modem, or your router.

3) Plug the set-top box into power using the supplied power adapter. Make sure your TV is also connected to power.
4) Use only the included HDMI cable to connect the set-top box to your TV. If you need a longer cable, it must be a Premium High Speed HDMI cable or better.
Step 2: Connect the Network CableIf you connect the set-top box directly to the fiber modem, make sure you use the correct port on the back:
- Icotera fiber modem: We advise using port 1, 2, or 3 for the set-top box.
- Zyxel fiber modem: We advise using port 2, 3, or 4 for the set-top box.
