If you experience that the Altibox remote control adjusts the TV volume control instead of the Altibox set-top box volume control, there are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue.
 

Turn “CEC Volume Control” on or off

Step 1: Press the "Home" button on the remote control.

Step 2: Use the arrow keys to navigate to the gear icon in the top right corner and press the "OK" button on the remote.

Step 3: Use the arrow keys to navigate down to "Device Settings" and press "OK".

Step 5: Use the arrow keys to navigate down to "HDMI" and press "OK".

Step 6: Use the arrow keys to navigate to "CEC Volume Control". Use the "OK" button on the remote to turn the function on or off. When the function is on, the circle will move from left to right. Test whether the issue disappears when the function is turned on, or when it is turned off.

Resetting the Altibox remote control

To reset the Altibox remote control back to its default settings, press and hold the number keys 7 and 9 simultaneously until you see four light flashes at the top left of the remote. The remote is now configured back to its default settings. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us.
