ICOTERA fiber modem - with built-in router/wifi

- Make sure your fiber modem is powered on and that you have ordered services from Varanger KraftFiber.
- Your network name (SSID) and password are printed on the sticker attached to the fiber modem.
Tip: If you have a smartphone or tablet, open the camera app and scan the QR code (the square mosaic image) on the sticker to connect to Wi-Fi without typing the password!
- To change your password, log in to your router’s configuration page by visiting 192.168.7.1 in a web browser:
- Username: admin
- Password: varangerbynett
- Note: We recommend changing this password after logging in.
- Username: admin
- If you are using your own wireless router, please contact customer service by email at kundeservice@varanger-kraftfiber.no or by phone at 78962630 to inform us.
You must connect your own wireless router (use the port labeled INTERNET or WAN) to LAN-port number 4 on the fiber modem (often labeled Port4 at the bottom of the modem).
ICOTERA fiber modem - without built-in router/wifi

- Make sure your fiber modem is powered on and that you have ordered services from Varanger KraftFiber.
- To connect to the internet wirelessly, you need to connect your own wireless router to the fiber modem.
- Connect your wireless router (use the port labeled INTERNET or WAN) to LAN-port number 4 on the fiber modem (often labeled Port4 at the bottom of the modem).
- Important: When your own wireless router is connected to the fiber modem, nothing else should be connected to the fiber modem. If you need internet for set-top boxes, tablets, mobile phones, computers, home alarms, etc., these devices must then be connected to your wireless router.
- Connect your wireless router (use the port labeled INTERNET or WAN) to LAN-port number 4 on the fiber modem (often labeled Port4 at the bottom of the modem).

When using your own wireless router, you are responsible for settings such as Wi-Fi name and password. If you have forgotten your Wi-Fi password, you must reset your router to factory settings and perform the initial setup. See your router’s user manual for instructions.

If you would like to upgrade to a fiber modem with a built-in router/Wi-Fi, contact customer service by email at kundeservice@varanger-kraftfiber.no or by phone at 78962630. There is a fee of NOK 990,- for the upgrade. If you have an older type of fiber modem, the upgrade will be free of charge.

- Make sure your fiber modem and wireless router is powered on and that you have ordered services from Varanger KraftFiber.
- Download the app for Nokia Beacon 2 (Android, Apple/iOS) for step-by-step setup assistance and to manage your wireless router.
- Use a network cable to connect the blue port labeled WAN/LAN2 on the Nokia Beacon 2 to LAN-port number 4 on the fiber modem (often labeled Port4 at the bottom of the modem).
- Your Wi-Fi name and password are printed on the sticker on the underside of the Nokia Beacon 2:
-Wi-Fi name (SSID) is shown next to "SSID".
-Wi-Fi password is shown next to "Wi-Fi Key".
