Possible causes of low speed
- Damage or bends in the network cable between the fiber modem and router/PC can result in reduced connection and speed.
- Wireless router with older technology or older connected devices (smartphone, tablet, computer).
- Devices connected to wireless frequency 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz.
Solution: Try replacing the network cable between the fiber modem and the router/PC. You can also connect priority devices that need higher speeds to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi or directly with a network cable, and move lower-priority devices to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Alternative solution: You may need to purchase a new wireless router. Contact us by phone at 78962630, and we can offer you a good deal.
